The Game Bakers studio, which you may know from Haven and Furi, continues to improve its next project, Cairn. They recently released a new trailer demonstrating the gameplay, including key mechanics:
Here's What We Know
The story of the game is currently unknown, but we do know that we will need to conquer Mount Kami. Each rock is suitable for climbing, which allows you to strategically plan your route by controlling your breathing and posture. Pythons serve as safety checkpoints in case of a fall.
Survival elements, such as collecting water from streams and heating it with plants for food, add to the realism. The dynamic cycle of day and night and the unpredictable weather, which is monitored by a barometer, further complicate the climbers' task.

Cairn will be available on Xbox Series and PC. A free demo is currently available on Steam.
