In this large number of April-March 2025 releases, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 by Sandfall Interactive still managed to attract the attention of players. The game will be released next month, but until then, the new gameplay is available thanks to media publications and content creators who are familiarising themselves with the demo

Here's What We Know

The demo covers the early part of the game, when the remnants of the expedition - Gustave and Lune - set out to find survivors. While the exploration is simple, the combat mixes include moves and real-time actions such as parrying, dodging and countering. Lune can cast stains on enemies and consume them for certain effects with skills.

Meanwhile, Gustave has a metal arm that is responsible for parrying, dodging and dealing damage. In his "Overcharge" state, he can deal more damage. Later, they meet Maelle, who uses different stances - defensive to take less damage, offensive to deal (and receive) more damage, and virtuoso to deal "much more" damage.

Where To Play

Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 will be available on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC. The game will also be available on Game Pass from the first day of release.

When We Can Expect It

The game is scheduled for release on 24 April.
