Hori Wireless Fighting Commander Octa Pro is a gamepad for fighting game fans that will appear on 14 April for $100

Hori has announced the Wireless Fighting Commander Octa Pro, a wireless controller for PlayStation 5 and PC that will be an ideal choice for fighting game fans. The new product will go on sale on 14 April for $100, and pre-orders are already open.
Here's What We Know
Fighting Commander Octa Pro offers players the following features:
- Wireless connection via USB-C receiver with a range of up to 10 metres.
- An 8-gate analogue stick designed specifically for fighting games, which ensures the accuracy of diagonal movements.
- Six micro-switches on the buttons for increased accuracy and durability.
- Interchangeable D-pad with three design options to customise to your gaming style.
- Programmable rear buttons for customised control.

The controller also features a low-profile analogue slider for menu navigation, a touchpad, 3.5mm headphone jack and cable lock to prevent accidental disconnections during intense matches.
The design itself is created in such a way that we see not only the main buttons (cross, square, triangle and circle), but also R2 and R1, which are not made in the style of a bumper and trigger, but are ordinary buttons.
Octa Pro supports both wireless and wired gaming modes. Charging is via USB-C cable, and the battery life is approximately 10 hours. The controller is compatible with PS5 and PC, but only works in wired mode on PS4.
Thanks to its ergonomic design and wide customisation options, the Octa Pro is suitable for both professional tournaments and casual games at home.
The controller can be pre-ordered on Amazon for $100. If you are looking for a more affordable option, Hori also offers the Fighting Commander Octa for $59 with basic features.
