Sony has announced the new PlayStation Beta Programme, which simplifies the registration process for beta tests of upcoming games, PS5 console features, the PlayStation mobile app, and other innovations. Registration is already open on the official PlayStation website.
Here's What We Know
The new PlayStation Beta Programme is designed to allow players to register and show their interest in testing:
- New games for PS5 and PC.
- Updates to PS5 system features.
- New features of the PlayStation App mobile application.
- Improvements to the user interface on PlayStation.com.
This greatly simplifies the process, as previously players had to register separately for each test.
To join the programme, you need to:
- Have an active PlayStation Network account with no violations.
- Reside in a country where the programme is available.
- Be of legal age in accordance with the laws of your country.
Registration is carried out through the official PlayStation website. After logging in to your account, you need to accept the terms of the programme and set up your profile, indicating your favourite genres, platforms and types of beta tests you are interested in.
Participation in the programme is free, but it does not guarantee automatic access to all beta tests. Sony will select participants for each test on a case-by-case basis based on availability and eligibility.
Players who are selected to participate will receive an invitation via email.
