"I fucking hope so": Robert Pattinson wants Batman sequel to start filming soon
Robert Pattinson expressed hope that the filming of the Batman sequel will start as soon as possible. The film, which was supposed to be released in 2024, was postponed to October 2027 due to numerous delays and strikes in Hollywood.
Here's What We Know
Batman 2 was officially announced in January 2023 with a release date of October 2024. However, due to strikes by actors and screenwriters in Hollywood in 2023, production was halted and the release was postponed to October 2026. In December last year, it was reported that there was another delay, this time until October 2027.
During an interview with Hero Magazine, Pattinson expressed hope that filming would begin as soon as possible.
I fucking hope so. I started as the young Batman, and in the sequel I'm going to be the old Batman... I'm 38, I'm old.
Pattinson also added that although he is getting older, he is now healthier and believes that he has managed to "lower his biological age" a little.
Batman 2 will continue the story of the first part, which was released in 2022. Director Matt Reeves plans to show the events a few weeks after the finale of the first film and the Penguin series.
