Rumours: shooter Marathon will get three editions and various pre-order bonuses
Bungie is actively preparing for the release of its new project, Marathon, which will be a competitive online shooter. Recent updates on Steam indicate that pre-orders may be open soon, and the game will be released in several editions.

The developers are planning to present the game in April 2025, which may be the perfect time to officially announce pre-orders.
In recent days, Marathon's Steam page has received several updates that indicate preparations for the official announcement. In particular, three editions of the game have been revealed:
- Basic Edition
- Extra+ Edition (possibly Deluxe)
- Extra++ Edition (possibly Complete)
Information about DLCs related to pre-orders was also found, as well as additional DLCs for each edition. Among them is the Destiny 2-related DLC.
However, for now, all such information should be taken with scepticism and wait for official news.
Marathon is a multiplayer action shooter. The game promises to be much better than previous Bungie projects. In the game, players will have the opportunity to choose weapons, implants, and other improvements on their own, which gives them more freedom in the gameplay. It will be available on PC and PlayStation 5.
