At MWC 2025, GlocalMe presented an unusual device - PetPhone, the "first smartphone for pets". In fact, it is a smart collar with sensors, a health monitoring system, and voice communication between the owner and the pet.

Here's What We Know

The device can recognise the pet's actions, such as barking, and send notifications to the owner if the pet is nervous or anxious. In case of stress, you can call the pet via the voice communication system or play a pre-recorded audio message to calm it down.

PetPhone also has a built-in tracking system that uses GPS, AGPS, LBS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and even active radar to determine the pet's location in real time. Through the mobile app, owners can set up "safe zones", and if their pet goes beyond them, they will receive a notification.

Another function is behavioural analysis using artificial intelligence. The device can recognise activity, eating habits, and even sleep, and signal any behavioural deviations.

The price of PetPhone will range from $199 to $299 depending on the model, and sales will start in the US, Europe, and Asia in late 2025.
