"3 hours of my life I'll never get back": thanks to an enthusiast, a mod that adds Black Jack replicas to the game will be released in Minecraft
With the release of the Minecraft film approaching, one of the modders found a creative way to combine the game and the film. He added Jack Black's voice to the game, allowing players to feel closer to Steve from the film.
Here's What We Know
It all started when a fan collected all the Jack Black lines from the Minecraft movie trailer. Among them were words such as "Steve", "Enderpearl", "Overworld", and "crafting table". Another player suggested the idea of creating a mod that would play these phrases every time the player picked up items or interacted with enemies in the game.
A few hours later, a mod appeared, created by a modder named SnailMan. It allows Steve to speak in Jack Black's voice, for example, when the player loads the game or interacts with the workbench. However, SnailMan plans to expand this mod by adding more phrases from the film.
It took 3 hours of my life to create this, and I'll never get it back
The mod is currently under review on the Modrinth platform and will soon be available to all players.
The Minecraft film will be released on 4 April 2025, starring Jason Momoa and Jack Black.
Now you can be Steve from the hit movie Minecraft in the game Minecraft based on the movie Minecraft
