Chinese gamer gadget maker Ayaneo has unveiled the Pocket Micro Classic handheld console for retro gaming fans.

The novelty is a simplified version of Ayaneo Pocket Micro - retro console, which was released in the summer of 2024.
Pocket Micro Classic is also designed as an old controller, but without analogue sticks - it only has a basic set of buttons, triggers and a crossbar.

The screen on the Pocket Micro Classic has a 3.5″ IPS display with 640p resolution and a 3:2 aspect ratio. The processor used is a MediaTek Helio G99, which is powerful enough to emulate NES, SNES, Sega Genesis and other retro systems. The device uses the AYASpace operating system based on Android 13.
The gadget supports Wi-Fi 5 and Bluetooth 5.2, and has a 480 Mbps USB-C port. A microSD card slot is provided.
Three body colours are available: Magic Black, Retro Gray and Retro Gold. Pre-order is already open.
Buyers will be offered three models of Ayaneo Pocket Micro Classic (price in translation from yuan to dollars):
