Authoritative insider and analyst Ming-Chi Kuo shared exclusive information about the first foldable iPhone model.

Here's What We Know

The Chinese expert believes that the foldable novelty from Apple will go on sale in late 2026 or early 2027.

The smartphone will consist of two displays, which will unfold on the principle of a book.

The diagonal of the inner screen of the gadget will be 7.8″ without folding, and the outer one will be 5.5″. In the folded state, the thickness of the device will be from 9 to 9.5 mm, and in the unfolded state - from 4.5 to 4.8 mm.

The foldable iPhone will get a titanium alloy body, stainless steel and titanium alloy hinge, dual rear camera and single front camera.

Ming-Chi Kuo believes that such a smartphone will not have Face ID support - it will be replaced by Touch ID.

The insider is sure that Apple will promote its foldable gadget as an "innovative smartphone with AI".

According to Kuo, Apple plans to launch mass production of the foldable iPhone in the fourth quarter of 2026.

The novelty will cost more than $2000.
