It's official: Cities: Skylines II won't release on PS5 and Xbox Series until at least summer 2025

Colossal Order studio and Paradox Interactive publishing house addressed gamers with another message, which is unlikely to please console users.
Here's What We Know
The developer said that those who still hope to play the urban strategy Cities: Skylines II on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, will not be able to do so, at least until summer.
Recall, initially the release of the console versions of Cities: Skylines II was supposed to take place simultaneously with the release on PC - in October 2023, but because of the huge technical problems of the strategy, Colossal Order decided to postpone the release of the console versions to deal with the emergency improvement of the technical state of the PC-version. Which, frankly, didn't work out as well.
In its address the studio noted that now all efforts are aimed at improving the performance of the game, but there are other problems that need to be dealt with.
We understand that many of you are looking forward to the release of the console versions, but it is important for us to make the situation clear: the release will not take place before the summer. We want to avoid any hasty predictions and instead promise to reveal solid information when the game is more ready to launch.
