Ukrainian studio Frogwares, which has been delighting gamers with Sherlock Holmes series quests for many years, has launched a crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter to support the development of its new game - The Sinking City 2.

Here's What We Know

The Sinking City 2 will be a direct sequel to the 2019 game, which was inspired by Howard F. Lovecraft's novels.

The studio originally set a goal of $100k, but it was raised in just a few hours, and at the time of writing, Frogwares has over $143k in its account.

To stir up interest in The Sinking City 2 the developer has published the first gameplay trailer, which gives an idea of how the game should turn out. Gamers are promised an improved combat system, deep atmosphere of chthonic horror, and battles with monsters will become more dynamic and spectacular.

Players will go to the fictional city Arkham, where the protagonist will meet not only classic creatures from Lovecraft's books, but also new monsters.

When We Can Expect It

The Sinking City 2 release date is still unknown. The game will be released on PC (on Steam, Epic Games Store and GOG), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.

Everyone can support the project of Ukrainian developers on Kickstarter.
