"The best processors for gamers and creators": AMD revealed the launch date and price of Ryzen 9 chips

AMD Computing and Graphics Group Senior Vice President and General Manager Jack Huynh announced that the new Ryzen 9 9900X3D and Ryzen 9 9950X3D gaming processors will be released on 12 March.

Here's What We Know

The Ryzen 9 9900X3D will cost $599, while the more powerful variant will cost $699.

Both chips are built on the Zen 5 architecture.

• Ryzen 9 9950X3D will get 16 cores at 32 threads, frequencies up to 5.7 GHz, 144MB of cache memory and a TDP of 170W.
• The Ryzen 9 9900X3D has 12 cores at 24 threads and is clocked up to 5.5GHz. The chip has 140MB of cache memory and 120W TDP.
