22 March will mark the 20th anniversary of the God of War franchise.

In honour of this event Sony Santa Monica will hold a large-scale festival where fans will be able to meet voice actors, get autographs, buy merch, hear interesting facts about game development and discuss the path the series has taken.

Guest appearances include Terrence Carson, the voice of Kratos in the original trilogy, and Christopher Judge, the voice of Kratos from the last two GoWs. They will be joined by artists who have performed the roles of Atreus, Mimir, Athena, Freya, Brock and Sindri.

There were rumours on the web that it was at this event that a compilation of remasters of the original God of War trilogy would be announced. Well, now we know Sony's exact plans.

Here's What We Know

The developer published a post in which he reminded about the upcoming event, but it is from it that we know that the dreams of fans will not come true. At least not at this event.

Sony Santa Monica stated that "we are not planning any announcements at this event".
