The public is eagerly awaiting the new instalment of the iconic Mafia series. After the failed Mafia 3 and quite a quality remake of the first part - Mafia: Definitive Edition, Hangar 13 studio promises a return to the roots of the franchise and is working hard on Mafia: The Old Country.

In December gamers saw the full trailer of the new game and it was encouraging. The authors showed authentic locations of Sicily of the early XX century, introduced the protagonist Enzo Favara, who after many years of work in the mine decides to join the Torrisi family. However, there was almost no real gameplay footage in the trailer, but they may be shown soon.

In their social networks 2K Czech, Hangar 13 and Take-Two Interactive published a post, which says that the developer can't wait to share with the public the details of the game and soon everyone is expecting "something "big".

It is known that the release of Mafia: The Old Country will take place in summer 2025 on PC (Steam), PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series, so it's obvious that the developers have to start an active marketing campaign and most likely, the "something big" will be a detailed gameplay trailer of the novelty.
