Neil Druckmann has confirmed that Naughty Dog's new game, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet, continues to change and evolve during the development process.

Here's What We Know

Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet was announced at The Game Awards 2024, but its creation began in 2020. In the new episode of Sony's Creator to Creator series, Druckmann said: "We still have a lot of work to do, and I'm really excited to see where it takes us. These things are so complex and big that I still don't know exactly what it's going to look like at the end."

I have a theory, an idea, but it's still evolving and changing as we go along

These words indicate that the project is still not as close to completion as it might seem.

The game promises to immerse players in the world of science fiction about 2000 years in the future. The protagonist, bounty hunter Jordan A. Moon, finds herself on the dangerous planet Sempiria, which is isolated from the rest of the universe.

Although Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet is not yet ready for release and remains in active development, Naughty Dog's ambitious project promises to become an important part of their portfolio and one of the best games on the PlayStation 5.
