Nothing has released the first software update for its new Phone (3a) and Phone (3a) Pro smartphones unveiled last week at MWC in Barcelona.

Here's What We Know

The update includes a host of improvements. Essential Key functionality now lets you quickly save screen content with the ability to add notes, and a long press records a voice memo along with a screenshot.

Essential Space has added widgets for the home screen and lock screen, updated the home page and added an "Upcoming" section for task management. Smart Insight is now displayed in the system language.

The camera has received presets for optimal settings and the ability to import custom filters. In addition, camera performance has been improved and clarity in macro mode has been enhanced. Portrait mode is now more refined with "more accurate background blurring".

AI-based face and scene classification has been added to the Nothing Gallery app, and the UI has been improved. It also introduces a password verification feature when the device is switched off. Apart from this, the update fixes various bugs and improves the stability of smartphones.
