During the first Battlefield Labs test for the upcoming Battlefield 6 game, the gameplay was leaked despite the non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) signed by the participants. The game's lead producer David Searland expressed his dissatisfaction with the situation, but also shared new details about the game's features.

Here's What We Know

The first Battlefield Labs test, which is part of EA's ambitious programme to engage the community in development, took place recently. However, participants who were supposed to comply with the NDA started publishing gameplay footage and information about the game. A new feature was noticed in the leaks - the ability to drag wounded comrades to safety. According to Searland, this will be an interesting part of the game's revival mechanics. For example, some really interesting combinations can arise with this feature.

At the same time, Searland commented on the situation with leaks on social media:

"I'm not happy about the leaks; we respond accordingly

Battlefield 6 is currently in pre-alpha and is scheduled for release between April 2025 and March 2026. The Battlefield Labs programme will be expanding to include more players for testing.
