However, last year, he changed his role to focus on the implementation of generative artificial intelligence in game development.
However, according to journalist Stephen Totillo, Verdue has now left Netflix entirely.
After the arrival of Alan Taskan, former executive vice president of Epic Games, Netflix started large-scale changes in its gaming department. The company closed the AAA studio Team Blue, which was working on its first major project.
It remains unclear how Verdue's departure will affect the further development of games on the platform and what new strategies will be implemented under Taskan's leadership.
