Asus unveils new gaming monitor with Samsung's QD-OLED display

ASUS has launched the ROG Strix OLED XG27UCDMG gaming monitor, featuring Samsung Display's latest fourth-generation QD-OLED panel.

Here's What We Know

The device has a 26.5-inch diagonal, 4K resolution and 240Hz refresh rate. Response time is just 0.03ms and colour gamut reaches 99.3% DCI-P3. The monitor supports HDR10, Dolby Vision, AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and Nvidia G-Sync, and is VESA DisplayHDR True Black 400 certified.

For connectivity, there are HDMI 2.1, DisplayPort 1.4 and USB Type-C ports with support for Power Delivery up to 90W. Asus claims high colour accuracy with Delta E<2 and offers a three-year warranty. The monitor stand is height, tilt and swivel adjustable and has space for a smartphone dock.

The device is currently only available in China at a price of 6,499 yuan (about $900).
