Samsung is preparing to launch the Galaxy S25 Edge, and new data indicates that this smartphone may get limited free access to Gemini Advanced, Google's advanced AI model.

Here's What We Know

Gemini Advanced includes features such as deeper information analysis and an expanded contextual window. This service is usually paid for, but Google provides trial periods to attract new users. Previously, Galaxy S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra owners received six months of free access, and the company offers Pixel 9 buyers this feature for a year.

The code for the latest beta version of Google's Android app revealed that the Galaxy S25 Edge will also be part of the programme. It is not yet known for how long the offer for this model will be available.

Given that the S25 Edge is mentioned separately from the other devices in the series, it is questionable whether it will receive the same six months of free access or other conditions. Some users would probably prefer a more tangible bonus, such as accessories like Galaxy Buds.

The Galaxy S25 Edge will have an ultra-thin 5.84 mm body, a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip, and a dual main camera with a 200 megapixel main sensor, like the Galaxy S25 Ultra, and an ultra-wide-angle camera. This model is rumoured to have no telephoto lens.

Samsung plans to limit the initial production run to 40,000 units. Recently, an Ice Universe insider reported that the cost of the Galaxy S25 Edge will be the same as the Galaxy S25+.
