iPad 11th generation with A16 chip supports professional video editor Final Cut Pro

Apple has introduced a new affordable iPad with an A16 chip that now supports Final Cut Pro for iPad. Final Cut Pro has become available to more users, as previously only models with the A17 Pro chip, such as the $499 iPad mini, could run this programme.
Here's What We Know
Now, the 11th-generation iPad for $349 with the A16 chip also supports this professional video editor.
According to Apple, the app requires an update to iPadOS 17.6 or later, as well as a device with an M-series or A16 chip or later. These changes open up access to professional video editing at a much lower price, as Final Cut Pro is now available on a subscription basis for just $4.99 per month.
However, it's worth noting that some features, such as recording in ProRes format or editing video timelines with the Apple Pencil hover, are only available on more powerful iPad models with advanced chips.
At the same time, the new iPad offers a larger screen, making it more convenient for video editing than other budget models.
The new iPad retains the familiar design, size, weight and colour options of the previous iPad (10th generation). However, the display is now slightly larger - 11 inches instead of 10.9, although the resolution and brightness remain unchanged.
The main upgrade is the A16 Bionic chip, which replaced the A14 Bionic from the 2022 model. It has a 5-core CPU, 4-core GPU, and 16-core Neural Engine. The memory configurations have also changed: 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB variants are now available instead of 64GB and 256GB in the previous model.
