Fireproof Games announces release date for mystical VR detective Ghost Town - 24 April for Meta Quest
The famous developer Fireproof Games, the author of the cult series The Room, has announced the release date of its new VR detective adventure Ghost Town. The game will be released on Meta Quest on 24 April, and releases for PCVR and PSVR2 are scheduled for the end of the year.
Here's What We Know
Ghost Town is set in 1983. Players will take on the role of Edith Penrose, an experienced ghost hunter who runs a detective agency in London with her neighbour.
Edith's life is going on as usual, with the ghosts in the mirror becoming less annoying and her rent almost paid. But the sudden disappearance of her brother forces her to travel to a remote Scottish island in search of a gifted medium, and then to the dark supernatural corners of London.
The game offers large interactive locations where players can interact with characters and explore the environment using VR controllers. They will solve puzzles, cast spells, and summon spirits to help them cross over to another world.
