Respawn Entertainment and Bit Reactor have officially confirmed that the announcement of their turn-based strategy game in the George Lucas universe will take place in April this year.

Here's What We Know

According to the schedule of events within the Star Wars Celebration Japan event, which appeared on the official Star Wars website, the official presentation of the game will take place on 19 April at Galaxy Stage, where Bit Reactor, Respawn Entertainment, and Lucasfilm Games will share the first details of the project.

The game was first talked about in January 2022, when it became known that it would be a joint project between Respawn and Bit Reactor. The development team is led by industry veteran Greg Foerstch, while Respawn is responsible for production.

Respawn CEO Vince Zampella has previously stated that the studio has long wanted to create games in the Star Wars universe, and the collaboration with Lucasfilm Games was the perfect opportunity to realise their ambitions.
