Honor is preparing to present a new compact smartphone Magic7 "Mini", which, according to the latest leaks, may be the closest analogue to the iPhone 16 Pro in terms of appearance and technology.

Here's What We Know

The smartphone will have a display with a diagonal of about 6.3 inches and is probably the most similar to Dynamic Island, a popular design element that has already become a hallmark of the iPhone. This was reported by a well-known insider at Digital Chat Station on Weibo.

The new gadget is expected to feature an advanced 3D face recognition system for high security, similar to the one in the iPhone 16 Pro. However, unlike Apple, Honor may also add a fingerprint reader. This will allow for convenient access to the smartphone in a variety of ways.

Another feature of the Magic7 Mini will be LIPO technology, which will reduce the bezels around the screen, creating more space for the display in a compact body. The new product is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, which is also used in the older Magic7 Pro model.

This smartphone will compete with devices such as the OnePlus 13T, Oppo Find X8S, and Honor's own mid-range Honor 400.

The exact release date and price have not yet been announced, but the Magic7 Mini is already looking like one of the most stylish and powerful compact smartphones on the market.

Honor is also preparing to launch a new flagship smartphone, the Magic8, which is rumoured to have a more compact size and thin bezels around the display.
