Samsung has released the fifth One UI 7.0 beta update for the Galaxy S24 series, which includes bug fixes and new features.

Here's What We Know

The update is available in India and the US, and is expected soon in other countries that are participating in the beta programme. One of the key new features is the addition of Samsung Log format video recording for the Galaxy S24 and S24+ models, previously available only on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. This format offers a wider dynamic range and editing flexibility.

The update also fixes a host of issues including bugs with the Now Bar display, lock screen notification settings, widget screen icon size, and widget transparency blurring effect. Fixed overlapping fonts and images, spacing between quick action menus, and issues with the edit button in the Gallery app. Real-time media playback has been improved.

The update is almost 942GB in size and includes the March 2025 security patch. This update is expected to be the last one before the stable version is released.
