Apple is preparing iPhone 17 with a 24-megapixel front camera - unofficial details

According to unofficial information, all four iPhone 17 models to be released at the end of this year will have an updated 24-megapixel front camera. This was reported by analyst Jeff Pu.
Here's What We Know
This is a significant upgrade compared to the iPhone 16 models, which have a front camera with a resolution of 12 megapixels.
According to the analyst, the new iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Pro Max will have a 24-megapixel front camera.
Another analyst, Ming-Chi Kuo, also said that at least one of these smartphones will receive an improvement that will significantly improve photo quality.
The increased resolution of 24 megapixels will allow you to maintain high quality photos even after significant cropping, which will give you more options for editing. The front camera upgrade is just one of many changes expected in the new generation of smartphones.
Other rumours about the iPhone 17 include increased RAM to 12GB and a new 48-megapixel telephoto camera for the Pro and Pro Max models. According to Pu, the A19 and A19 Pro processors will be manufactured using TSMC's new 3nm N3P process technology.
The official announcement and launch of the iPhone 17 is expected in September 2025.
All four iPhone 17 models, according to analyst Jeff Pu, will feature Apple's Wi-Fi 7 chip. Pu noted that the chip design was completed in the first half of 2024.
