The Opel Rocks update turned out to be cosmetic and brought no technical changes

Opel has updated its Rocks electric microcar - but only externally. Along with the cosmetic facelift, the company announced two new versions: Edition and GS.
Here's What We Know
Opel Rocks, which was previously called Rocks-e, debuted in 2021. It is the twin brother of the Citroen Ami and Fiat Topolino, as well as a competitor to Renault Group's Mobilize Duo.
Unlike the Citroen Ami, which has received a retro styling update, Opel has kept its most compact electric car's basic exterior features. The only new additions are a black Opel Vizor grille, a light grey body without black graphic elements and a white Opel Blitz logo. New LED headlights are another innovation, although the more advanced lighting elements from the Rock E-Xtreme concept did not go into production.

As before, the microcar has a symmetrical body and doors that open in different directions.
Interior without radical changes
Inside - a familiar interior without radical updates. Opel has removed the lime accents, replacing them with white and grey elements. The infotainment system is not provided here - instead, there is a smartphone holder and a special mobile application.
From the conveniences:
- USB port
- Panoramic roof
- Manual windows
- Storage pockets
Technical specifications
There are no changes in the technical part of the Opel Rocks:
- 6 kW (8 hp) electric motor
- Battery capacity 5.5 kWh
- Range 75 km
- Top speed 45 km/h
Opel promises that the updated Rocks will go on sale soon. The company will also introduce the Rocks Edition and Rocks GS, with the latter traditionally expected to get a sportier design.
