Xiaomi has unveiled a budget laptop model REDMI Book 14 (2025)
In January 2025, Redmi introduced two new laptops to its range, the Redmi Book 14 and Redmi Book 16 (2025). Now, the range has been expanded with another more affordable variant.
Here's What We Know
The new version of the laptop comes with Intel Core i5-13420H processor instead of Intel Core 220H.
The budget variant got a simplified display - instead of 2.8K and 120Hz refresh rate, the new model has a maximum resolution of 1200p and only 60Hz.
The computer received 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 512/1024GB of storage. HDMI 2.1, USB-A 3.2 Gen 1, USB-C and 3.5mm ports are provided, along with Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2 support. Windows 11 is used as the operating system.
The battery supports 56Wh charging, but a 100W adapter can also be used.
The body of the cheap Redmi Book 14 (2025), like the expensive model, is made of aluminium and weighs 1.37 kg.
The keyboard has a backlit keyboard and the sound system consists of two speakers with DTS.
The cost of the new Redmi Book 14 (2025) is $484, while the expensive model costs $636 in terms of yuan.
In the Chinese market, the novelty will be on sale from 24 March.
