Toyota has decided to end the Supra A90 era loudly - by releasing the Final Edition with a noticeable increase in power, upgraded suspension and a carbon fibre aero package. But the main thing is the price. In Germany for this sports car ask €142 800, which is almost twice as expensive as the standard version (€73 250).

Here's What We Know

Only 300 copies will be produced for Europe and Japan, so the exclusivity factor plays a key role here. In France, a lottery has been introduced, and only the winners will be able to buy the car for €144,000.

For the same money you can buy BMW M4 Competition xDrive, Lotus Emira V6 with a full package of options or Porsche 911 Carrera T.

What makes the Final Edition different from other Supra's?

The Toyota Supra Final Edition gets a revised BMW B58 engine, now producing 429bhp instead of 382bhp. Torque increases from 500 Nm to 570 Nm. Transmission is exclusively six-speed manual.

In addition, the Final Edition received:

Larger Brembo brakes, Akrapovič titanium exhaust system, customisable KW suspension and a carbon aero package with removable ducting on the bonnet. The wheels are different sizes front and rear, but all branded Gazoo Racing. The front is fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres measuring 265/35Z1R19 and 285/30ZR20 at the rear.

Other nice little details include Recaro carbon fibre bucket seats with red seatbelts and lots of alcantara.
