All hands on deck for the hunt: Monster Hunter Wilds is now the best-selling game of 2025 in the US

Monster Hunter Wilds has rapidly stormed to the top of sales in the US, becoming the best-selling game of 2025 (so far). Circana's data shows that the game's dollar sales in the month of launch were 40% higher than Monster Hunter World's and twice as high as Monster Hunter Rise's. And more than half of the sales came from the PC version on Steam.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, and the results are also excellent. Dollar sales of the sequel in the month of launch were five times higher than the original in 2018. Given that the first Warhorse Studios game sold steadily, Deliverance 2 has every chance of even greater success in the coming months and years.
Other new releases also performed well: Civilisation VII took third place, PGA Tour 2K25 fourth, Xbox exclusive Avowed seventh, and Like a Dragon: Pirate Yakuza in Hawaii was eighth.
As for the PlayStation exclusives, Marvel's Spider-Man 2 was ranked 13th in the sales rankings, while Helldivers 2 and Astro Bot were 17th and 20th respectively.
