Samsung confirms One UI 7 release date for older Galaxy models: new devices in the update list

Samsung has announced that starting from 7 April 2025, the One UI 7 update, which is powered by Android 15, will begin rolling out. Although the release of the update was delayed by several months, Samsung continues to expand the list of devices that will receive support for this version.
Here's What We Know
The first in line were the Galaxy S24 and S23 series models, as well as the latest generations of tablets and foldable smartphones. Now, the company has confirmed that in the coming weeks, One UI 7 will receive even more older models, including Galaxy S22, S21, and other devices.




The new list, published on Samsung's website in Singapore, includes the following devices:
- Galaxy S22
- Galaxy S22+
- Galaxy S22 Ultra
- Galaxy Fold 4
- Galaxy Flip 4
- Galaxy S21
- Galaxy S21+
- Galaxy S21 Ultra
- Galaxy Fold 3
- Galaxy Flip 3
- Galaxy Tab S9 FE
- Galaxy Tab S8
- Galaxy Tab S8+
- Galaxy Tab S8 Ultra
- Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2022)
- Galaxy Tab S6 Lite (2024)
So far, 34 devices have been confirmed to receive One UI 7. The update will begin on 7 April, but availability may vary by country and device model. As the list continues to be updated, more models are expected to be added in the near future.
When and where the One UI 7 stable update will be available
Starting 7 April: One UI 7 update will be available in Europe, Indonesia, India, the Philippines, Thailand, Vietnam, Mexico, New Zealand, Algeria, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Kuwait, Morocco, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, the UAE and other countries.
From 10 April: One UI 7 update will be available in the US and Canada.
From 14 April: One UI 7 will start rolling out in Malaysia and Singapore.
