Although The Alters by 11 bit still has no confirmed release date, the developer has launched a new video series called Expedition Logs, the first episode of which explores the topic of balance.

The game is set in a hostile world after a plane crash-landing, where Jan Dolski must keep his mobile base in working order to escape the deadly heat of the sun. To do this, he must create Alters - alternative versions of himself, each with unique professions and skills. However, these Alters are more than just tools, they have their own desires and emotions, so it is extremely important to maintain a careful balance between them.
The studio emphasised that the gameplay is designed to move the story forward, while the narrative itself will play a key role in shaping the final outcome. Whether this means that players will have the opportunity to ensure the survival of all versions of Ian remains to be seen.
When We Can Expect It
The launch of The Alters, which was originally expected in the first quarter of this year, has been postponed again to allow for further polishing and improvement of the game.
