Painkiller was unexpectedly announced - release this autumn for Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and PC

The spring edition of Future Games Show ended with an unexpected announcement: the return of Painkiller:
Here's What We Know
The game is being developed by Anshar Studios and published by 3D Realms in association with Saber Interactive. Based on the 2004 game of the same name, the game is being reimagined with new features, including support for three-player co-op, although it can still be played offline. Players take on the role of one of four Champions, each of whom must fight Azazel, waves of demons and Nephilim, with the ultimate goal of preventing the destruction of Earth.
In addition to the classic weapons, the game introduces new mechanics such as grappling and jumping to pass. Each Champion has unique stats, including energy, strength, damage, and health, and Tarot Cards offer buffs to enhance abilities. Teamwork and synergy between players will be the key to defeating the forces of evil.
