Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, plans to expand the adaptation of games into films and TV shows

Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, recently announced that the company plans to adapt more gaming franchises into films and TV shows in the future.
Here's What We Know
In an interview with Variety, Spencer shared the experience gained during the creation of the Halo TV adaptation and noted that the company is now more confident in its abilities for future projects. He acknowledged that some adaptations may not be successful, but the learning process allows Microsoft to move forward and continue to create new content. Spencer noted that projects such as Halo and Fallout allow the company to gain experience, and now it is more confident in its abilities.
This statement was made against the backdrop of A Minecraft Movie, which is preparing to premiere in cinemas. Legendary's chairman, Mary Parent, explained that the film's title reflects the fact that Minecraft is a sandbox where there is no single story, but many opportunities to create different narratives. Development of the film began in 2014, before Microsoft acquired Mojang, the game's developer.
