Bloober Team, the studio known for its psychological horror titles Layers of Fear, The Medium, and Silent Hill 2, has announced the creation of a new publishing label, Broken Mirror Games. The first project will be I Hate This Place, a game based on the Skybound Entertainment comic book series of the same name. Rock Square Thunder will develop the game.

Here's What We Know

I Hate This Place is an isometric survival-horror game in which players will take on the role of Elena, who arrives at a remote ranch with her friend. However, the place turns out to be not so peaceful - supernatural phenomena are happening around it, and terrifying creatures live in the forest.

The game will combine exploration, survival, crafting, and combat. Players will have to collect resources, defend themselves against creatures that chase the protagonist, and gradually reveal the secret of this ominous place.

Horror fans have welcomed the news of the new project from Bloober Team, especially given their experience in creating tense, atmospheric stories. Many are interested in how the developers will adapt the comic book to the video game format and whether they will be able to convey its dark atmosphere.

The creation of the Broken Mirror Games label demonstrates Bloober Team's ambition to expand its influence in the horror genre and collaborate with other teams. I Hate This Place promises to be an interesting addition to their portfolio, and its unique style and storyline may attract the attention of both fans of the comic and fans of tense survival stories.
