Not OLED, but with 120Hz support: an insider has revealed new details about the Nintendo Switch 2's display

Nintendo is in no hurry to reveal details of the Switch 2 console, and although the new product has already been officially unveiled, gamers have to rely on information from unofficial sources. And one of the main "suppliers" of reliable data was a user of Famiboards forum under the nickname SecretBoy. Earlier he has already revealed a lot of interesting details about Nintendo Switch 2 and now he is back with a new portion of information.
Here's What We Know
SecretBoy has put an end to the debate about what kind of display the Switch 2 will get. He denied long-standing rumours of an OLED screen and revealed that the Japanese manufacturer has settled on an LCD display. According to the insider the screen will provide a high refresh rate - up to 120 Hz, and also supports VRR and HDR modes.

Most likely, Nintendo has abandoned the OLED screen to avoid making the console more expensive.
To recall, the first iteration of Switch also came out with an LCD display and later Nintendo released an OLED version of the console, this is likely to be the case with the new gaming gadget as well.
