AI will make it easier to browse emails: Google has integrated smart search into Gmail
Google continues to add AI capabilities to its services and has offered Gmail users on Android, iOS and the browser a "smart search" that will make it easier to browse emails.
Here's What We Know
As Google states, the AI will automatically place the most important and interesting emails for a particular user at the top of the list. It will take into account the relevance of emails, frequency of contact, number of clicks on them, context and subject. This will speed up the process of finding relevant emails and reduce the likelihood of missing something important.
When the app is updated, Gmail will have a "most relevant" drop-down tab, but users will still have the option to sort chronologically.
