A month ago, OnePlus unveiled its new smartwatch - OnePlus Watch 3. After that, the head of research and development at OnePlus Health Lab, Leo Zhan, said that the company may release a new Watch 3 model in a different size.

Here's What We Know

He admitted that the OnePlus Watch 3 may be too heavy for people with small wrists, so this year they plan to fix the situation. Now, information has surfaced that OPPO Watch X2 Mini may be a smaller version of the OnePlus smartwatch.

The insider reports that the new OnePlus smartwatch will have a 43 mm body, which is significantly smaller than the 47 mm of the OnePlus Watch 3. In addition, the novelty will have an 18 mm wide strap.

It is worth noting that OnePlus Watch 3 is actually a version of OPPO Watch X2. Therefore, the launch of OPPO Watch X2 Mini as a compact version for OnePlus will not be a big surprise. Perhaps the new product will be called Watch 3 Mini, although this has not yet been confirmed.

OPPO has already shared an image of the Watch X2 Mini on its Weibo account and showed it in gold colour. The watch has a round dial.

Since the new product will be smaller, we can expect it to have a smaller battery. However, thanks to the powerful dual-core system from OPPO and OnePlus, the watch has excellent battery life. The smaller screen also consumes less power, so there will be no problems with the battery.

OnePlus may soon introduce this watch in India and other countries after the release of the OPPO Watch X2 Mini. There is no exact date yet.
