Honor announced the Pad X9 tablet in July 2023, and now it has introduced an updated model - the Honor Pad X9a.

Here's What We Know

The tablet has an 11.5-inch LCD screen with a resolution of 2508×1504 pixels, a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a brightness of up to 400 nits. The battery is an 8,300 mAh battery with 35W fast charging support.

The Pad X9a is powered by a Snapdragon 685 chipset and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.

The gadget runs on Android 15 with MagicOS 9.0. The main camera has a resolution of 8 megapixels, and the front camera is 5 megapixels.

Honor Pad X9a is made of metal. The device has four speakers, as well as support for a stylus and Bluetooth keyboard. There is no LTE connection - only Wi-Fi is available.

The tablet comes in grey and has already appeared on Honor's official website in Malaysia, but its price has not yet been disclosed.

Recently, it became known that Honor may release a compact Magic7 'Mini' with facial recognition like the iPhone 16 Pro and Dynamic Island. The smartphone will have a display with a diagonal of about 6.3 inches and is likely to be most similar to Dynamic Island, a popular design element that has already become a hallmark of the iPhone. This was reported by a well-known insider at Digital Chat Station on Weibo.

Honor will also start providing 7-year support for Magic series smartphones. Currently, only the Honor Magic 7 Pro will receive such support.
