The studio id Software continues to publish short videos dedicated to DOOM: The Dark Ages in their social networks.

Earlier the developers showed the destroyed streets of Kh alim city and a location called Hebeth Reactor. Now they have turned their attention to one of the demons that the Doom Slayer will face.

Here's What We Know

A short video introduces the Imp Stalker, a fast, bloodthirsty and dangerous creature that resembles its Imp brethren from previous DOOM instalments. These demons are an integral part of the famous series and usually appear at the beginning of the game and because of their numbers and speed become a serious danger for the player.

Flashback

The game will be a prequel to DOOM (2016) and Doom Eternal, and will show where Executioner Rock's story began when he was still serving the Ancient Gods.

DOOM: The Dark Ages will offer a huge selection of melee and ranged weapons, and some of the instances presented in the past parts will be changed in favour of the new style, which, remember, refers to gothic and medieval motifs.

Each chapter of the game is divided into acts, and passing through the levels will take about an hour, but with additional content it will take more time. The Dark Ages will offer the largest locations in the history of the series.

When We Can Expect It

DOOM: The Dark Ages will release on 15 May on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, and will be available immediately on Game Pass.
