Cult quest as a gift: Steam is giving away the original version of Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy (1999).
Already in April the release of remake of one of the best quests in the history of video games - Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy by the famous Belgian artist and screenwriter Benoît Sokal (creator of the famous Syberia series) will take place.
Here's What We Know
Microids publisher is actively advertising the updated version of Amerzone and recently presented a comparative trailer, which clearly showed the difference between the game 1999 and remake 2025. But to make it even easier for gamers to appreciate the work done by the game designers, the company offers Steam users to get a free version of the original Amerzone and personally dive into solving the mystery of White Birds in the Amazon jungle.
You can get Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy (1999) until the 24th of March.
As a reminder, a free demo of the Amerzone: The Explorer's Legacy remake is available on all platforms and is receiving great reviews.
The release of the updated version of the game will take place on 24 April on MS, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series.
