TCL launches K7G Max smart lock with face recognition technology and 4.5-inch screen

TCL has introduced a new smart lock, the K7G Max. This lock is available for 2349 yuan (approximately 324 USD) on JD.com in China.
Here's What We Know
One of the main features is a 3D facial recognition system similar to Apple's Face ID. This technology uses artificial intelligence and eight different algorithms for recognition, adapting to changes in lighting and the user's appearance.
K7G Max supports up to 20 saved faces and has several access methods - fingerprint, password, NFC, mechanical keys, and even remote unlocking from a mobile phone. In addition, the lock is equipped with two cameras: a 2 MP front camera with a 160-degree field of view and a 1 MP rear camera with a 120-degree wide-angle lens. This allows you to fully monitor the situation at the door.

All these functions are displayed on the built-in 4.5-inch IPS screen, which TCL calls the "cat's eye". The screen is integrated into the company's smart ecosystem, allowing monitoring via smartphones and other gadgets.
The lock is powered by a 6000 mAh battery, which, according to TCL, can operate for up to eight months in standby mode. It also features T-Power energy-saving technology to help extend battery life.
The lock body is made of aluminium alloy and basalt glass. Thanks to noise reduction technology, the process of closing and locking the door is quiet and comfortable.
