Team Jade announces solo mode for Delta Force Black Hawk Down campaign
Delta Force developers have announced the development of a new "solo mode" for the Black Hawk Down campaign, which will allow players who prefer to play alone to get a new game experience.
Here's What We Know
In an interview with VideoGamer, game design director Ricky Liao noted that this solo mode will be more accessible to players who prefer single-player. At the same time, the developers will retain the "core tactical elements of the game" to provide a similar experience in the new mode.
In solo mode, different difficulty levels will be available so that players do not face enemies created for co-op play. However, the campaign will remain challenging regardless of the difficulty choice, as "the game is not meant to be a fast-paced shooter". The developers want players to think critically, plan strategy, and collaborate effectively with their teammates, creating tension and realism that mirrors actual military operations.
In addition to the "solo mode", the developers also discussed changes to the balance to make the game "fairer". However, they stressed that the difficulty will not be reduced, as challenge is an integral part of the game.
