In the new issue of Power On's weekly news digest, authoritative insider and Bloomberg journalist Mark Gurman reported on an interesting feature of the next Apple Watch models.

Here's What We Know

Gurman revealed that Apple plans to equip the smartwatch with an inbuilt camera to realise new AI capabilities.

He explained that the presence of cameras will allow the gadget to scan the environment and provide the user with information based on the findings, in much the same way as it is rumoured to be implemented in the AirPods TWS headphones.

Gourmet knows that in the standard Apple Watch model, the camera will be embedded in the screen, while in the Ultra versions of the smartwatch it will be placed on the side, next to the digital crown and side button.

The insider noted that we should not expect smartwatches with an integrated camera before 2027.
