Samsung Internet will be able to quickly explain the content of news and articles with Gemini

Samsung and Google are working on a new feature for the Samsung Internet browser that will allow summarising web pages using Gemini artificial intelligence.
Here's What We Know
Currently, this feature is available only through Galaxy AI, but in the future, users will be able to use Gemini.
Samsung Internet now has a Browsing Assist feature called Summarize that allows you to create a summary of articles and web pages.
According to Android Authority, the beta version of Google's app (16.10.40.sa.arm64) now allows you to summarise web pages while browsing on Samsung Internet. To do this, you need to call up Gemini via the side button or gesture on the screen, press "Ask about this screen" and enter the "summarise" command.

Currently, Gemini can only use a screenshot of the visible part of the page to create a summary. In the future, it will be able to retrieve the full URL of the page and work with the full content, which will make summarising more accurate.
This feature is expected to become available in the coming months. Samsung and Google have previously integrated Gemini into applications such as Samsung Notes and Samsung Reminder, and will likely continue to expand support for other services.
Recently, the Gemini app received an update for Android and iOS that includes a new plus menu and Canvas feature. The update became available after the launch of this feature on the web version.
