Geekbench reveals the characteristics of OnePlus Pad 2 Pro: 8-core processor and Android 15

OnePlus is preparing a new model of its flagship tablet, which is likely to be called the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro. The device recently appeared in the 3C certification database in China, where it was confirmed to support 80W fast charging.

Now the new tablet has also appeared on the Geekbench platform, where important details about the processor, operating system and overall performance of the device have been revealed.
The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro, identified by the model number "OPPO OPD2409", has an 8-core processor. Two of these cores are clocked at up to 4.32 GHz, while the remaining six cores are clocked at 3.53 GHz. According to the results of Geekbench 6 tests, the tablet scored 2633 points in the single-core test and 7779 points in the multi-core test. In addition, the device runs on Android 15 and has 16 GB of RAM.

According to previous rumours, the OnePlus Pad 2 Pro will have a 13.2-inch LCD display with a 3.4K resolution, which will provide a clearer image than the previous model with a 2.8K screen. The tablet will also feature up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 internal storage and LPDDR5x RAM, targeting users who are actively engaged in multitasking. The battery capacity will remain unchanged at 10,000 mAh, with 80W fast charging.
The main cameras of the tablet will have sensors of 13 MP for the main camera and 8 MP for the front camera.
The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro could be released in the second half of 2025, given Oppo's plans.
