The gaming community is eagerly awaiting a special Nintendo Direct on 2 April, which will focus on the new Switch 2 handheld console and games for it.

However, there may be another event from Nintendo before that show.

Here's What We Know

Several reputable sources have reported that Nintendo is preparing another show for the end of March. For instance, Jeff Grubb believes that the company has a few projects left that it should have already unveiled but hasn't done so so far. He reports that these will not be games from the Japanese company, but from its partners.

VGC Editor-in-Chief Andy Robinson brought to the attention of his subscribers the information of a Chinese insider who previously shared Nintendo's plans, and he is also confident that there will be some sort of event in the next few days.

To summarise the information, we can expect the next Nintendo Direct: Partner Showcase to take place this week, probably on 26 March. It's unlikely to feature any Nintendo games, as the company is apparently saving them until the big showcase on 2 April.
