No Oryon cores: an insider has revealed the specifications of Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8s Elite processor
Insider Debayan Roy (Gadgetsdata) has revealed detailed technical information about the Snapdragon 8s Elite processor, which will be a budget and slightly simplified version of Qualcomm's flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite.
Here's What We Know
According to Debayan Roy, the Snapdragon 8s Elite will not get an Oryon core, unlike the premium version.
The informant reports that the chip will be manufactured using 4nm process technology and it will get one Cortex-X4 core with up to 3.21GHz, three Cortex-A720 cores with up to 3.01GHz, two Cortex-A720 cores with 2 02GHz. Graphics capabilities will be provided by an Adreno 825 processor.
Debayan Roy suggests that Snapdragon 8s Elite will get about two million points in the AnTuTu test, but do not expect a significant performance increase compared to a similar chip of the last generation.
