Updated classic: how has the Verdansk map been improved for the return to Warzone?

We already know that the legendary Verdansk map in Warzone is returning on 3 April with the launch of the third season. Activision has shared a video showing a fully recreated map that is faithful to the original design, but with modern technology.
Here's What We Know
The original Verdansk map debuted in Warzone five years ago. The new version was created from scratch in collaboration with Beenox, High Noon Studios, and Raven Software. Simon Duschesne, environment artist at Beenox, said: "We wanted to keep that nostalgic feel while updating it with new technology."
Improvements include new high-quality skies, improved reflections, more accurate light maps and a smoother transition between interiors and exteriors. Iconic locations such as the Prison, Airport, Dam and City Centre have received updated lighting and graphics that increase visibility and detail.
The developers emphasise: "It's the same iconic Verdansk map you remember, brought to life with more detail, higher resolution and using the best technology available today."
